"Grown (cov song)" - Single by Coco Colette

Release Date: November 10, 2023

What You Should Know: "I wrote this song back in the summer of 2022 - I was living in an apartment with 3 of my friends and was going through a really hard time. As the song alludes to, I was falling behind on things like my dishes and laundry, but those were just examples of a bigger struggle. I was coming face to face with growing up - being away from my family and, at the time, working a fulltime job for the first time. I was so overwhelmed and what helps me the most when I feel that way is writing music. So “grown” was born, and now I look back on it and things haven't changed all too much, but, in all of its irony, I really have grown and I’m trying to take each day one at a time. "

Find It: Everywhere, like
Apple or Spotify

Her Spotify Playlist Inclusions: "Women Going Places, from Section 36"

“It Hurts Too Much To Speak" by Lina Cooper (Aug 25, 2023 Release)

“It Hurts Too Much To Speak" is the debut EP from the incredibly talented Lina Cooper!

Go listen to it right now!

As Lina herself recently said, "I got an idea to make this EP back in December 2022 while crying in the shower to YUNGBLUD‘s self-titled album. I was crying because I felt so overwhelmed and broken, I’ve been under so much pressure and experiencing so much hurt and grief over such a short amount of time, it felt like I was ripping at the seams. And then I just decided to put all of this hurt into a concept project, an EP or an album. This decision kinda came out of nowhere and happened in 2 minutes. All during that one shower. I wrote the first track in 10 minutes right after getting out of the bathroom.

I produced and recorded this EP by myself in my bedroom. I knew I wanted this project to be very bare and honest. I didn’t want anyone to touch it except for very few people. The only two co-writers I had were Sierra Cornell and XNK"

You can find “It Hurts Too Much To Speak" just about everywhere you usually get your music like Apple and Spotify. So, there's no reason you won't be able to find it.…which I highly suggest you do.

“All I've Ever Known" by Lina Cooper (Apr 21, 2023 Release)

“All I've Ever Known" is the latest single from the incredibly talented Lina Cooper!

Go listen to it right now!

As Lina herself recently said, "I’m just here to crack my soul open a bit and show you what’s been inside for the past year. The recent events in the world and my life pushed me to the very edge of my mental stability and took away pretty much all the faith that I’ve had in humanity, kindness and in the idea that something up above is watching over us and protecting us. The horrifying things that I have seen or heard of made me cry my eyes out till they were completely dry. And the unfairness of the world made me lose sleep for weeks in a row. And so, I wrote this song months after it all started hoping it would make other people feel understood as well. Existential crisis and dread, constant anxiety, hopelessness… we all feel that no matter where we are from. And maybe this music mental breakdown will make you feel better."

You can find “All I've Ever Known" just about everywhere you usually get your music like Apple and Spotify. So, there's no reason you won't be able to find it.…which I highly suggest you do.

“Help Yourself" by Lina Cooper (November 18, 2022 Release)

“Help Yourself" is the new single from the amazing singer Lina Cooper!

Go listen to it right now!

Here's what Lina says about the song...

"
This song came to me at a really dark time and it felt like a breath of fresh air. I started writing it by myself at the kitchen table with a broken guitar, and then finished it with
Leonardo Porro who was half a world away the entire time.

This song is starting to believe in yourself again, it is telling everybody that doesn’t like you to f*** off, it is enjoying your life and cutting off the ones that don’t let you do that."

That definitely sounds like a special song to me.

You can find “Help Yourself" just about everywhere you usually get your music like Apple and Spotify. So, there's no reason you won't be able to find it.…which I highly suggest you do.
